Traffic lights and infrastructure upgrades at Jubilee and Trans-Canada Highway intersection

Replacing and upgrading aging traffic lights and their components and adding a new pedestrian crossing will increase safety for people using the trail system and improve reliability for all road users.

The new crossing will be on the Kinlock side of the highway in Stratford.

Dates: Starting Monday, June 16 for 10 days, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Traffic:

  • Lanes will be reduced, and motorists should expect some delays.
  • Flaggers will direct traffic from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. because the intersection lights will be off during these hours.
  • The lights will be turned on from 4 p.m. to 9 a.m.

Safety:

  • Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
  • Reduce speed in the area.
  • Obey flaggers and signs.
  • Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.

Stay in the loop and plan your route during road construction:
