South Montague Road closed during bridge repairs

Motorists are advised that Route 353 (South Montague Road) will be closed for bridge repairs. 

Dates: 

August 3, with work expected to be completed by August 27.

Traffic:

Route 353 will be closed between Sparrows Road in South Montague and Route  354 (Dalmaney Road) in Valleyfield.

Only local traffic will be permitted until construction in completed. 

Drivers are asked to slow down and obey signs.

Safety: 

  • Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
  • Reduce speed in the area. 
  • Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
