Roadwork planned at Keppoch Road and Georgetown Road intersection

Motorists are advised of upcoming roadwork at the intersection of Keppoch Road and Georgetown Road in Stratford to improve safety and traffic flow.

The project includes realigning Keppoch Road, constructing a new left-turn lane on Georgetown Road, and building a sidewalk and paved active transportation trail.

Dates: 

July 6, with work expected to be completed by the end of August.

Traffic:

Traffic will be maintained through the work zone for the duration of the project, with a one-lane, two-way, traffic configuration in place. 

Safety: 

  • Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
  • Reduce speed in the area. 
  • Obey flaggers and signs.
  • Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
