Reads Corner intersection expansion opens Thursday

The fourth leg of the Reads Corner intersection will open to traffic on Thursday. 

Motorists are encouraged to use caution as they become familiar with the new intersection configuration. Slow down and obey traffic control personnel working in the area.

The intersection will become a four-legged intersection. Each approach will have a dedicated left-turn lane and a second lane for through and right-turn traffic.

Work began last summer as part of infrastructure improvements to support housing development in the area. The new approach will provide access to a new residential development from Route 1A (Read Drive).
