PEI history podcast returns for season six
The PEI Museum and Heritage Foundation is launching season six of the hidden island podcast, which explores Prince Edward Island’s past in new and unexpected ways and shows why it is still relevant today.
New episodes will be released in October and continue through the fall and winter months. Listeners can hear candid conversations with community members about the parts of PEI’s heritage that often go unmentioned in history books.
“It's been an incredible privilege to bring these fascinating stories and conversations to life through the hidden island podcast, said Season 6 producer Rafe Wright. “Every episode has given us the opportunity to explore another piece of the Island's rich history, and we've been fortunate to share that journey with some truly wonderful guests this year. Whether you're a history buff, or someone who simply enjoys a great story, this season has something for you."
Season six features remarkable guests and thought-provoking conversations, each offering a unique perspective on PEI’s heritage.
Episodes include:
- Lost for Words: PEI’s Forgotten Gaelic History
- Guided by Light: A Journey of PEI Lighthouse Stories
- Ladies of the Land: The Women Protecting PEI’s Natural History
- Ghosts on the Gulf: Exploring PEI’s Most Spine-tingling Tales
Additional episodes explore a variety of other Island stories and perspectives.
