Motorists advised of delays on Route 2 in Coleman Corner

As part of the Coleman Corner Bridge replacement project in Carleton, motorists travelling on Route 2 may experience periodic delays of 10 to 15 minutes on September 10 and 11 while new bridge girders are installed.

The Coleman Corner Bridge is being replaced because the existing structure has reached the end of its service life. 

Safety: 

  • Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
  • Reduce speed in the area. 
  • Obey flaggers and signs.
  • Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
