Lane closures planned for Hillsborough Bridge

Motorists are advised of overnight lane closures on the Hillsborough Bridge from October 20 to 23 as crews remove the remaining pier platforms beneath the bridge.

Additional overnight closures may be required, depending on weather and other unforeseen circumstances.

Dates: 

  • October 20: Stratford-bound lanes, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
  • October 21: Stratford-bound lanes, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
  • October 22: Charlottetown-bound lanes, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
  • October 23: Charlottetown-bound lanes, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Traffic:

Motorists are asked to plan for additional travel time and use caution when travelling through the work area.

Safety: 

  • Obey flaggers and signs.
  • Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
