Asphalt work scheduled for Union Road

Asphalt work will be taking place on a 1-km section of Route 22 (Union Road). 

Work will commence approximately 2 km south of the intersection of Route 3 and Route 22 and proceed south for a distance of 1 km. 

Dates: 

October 3, with work expected to be completed by October 9.

Traffic:

During construction hours, two-way, stop-and-go traffic will be in effect. 

Motorists can expect delays and are advised to use caution when traveling through the work zone.

Safety: 

  • Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
  • Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
