Home heating program applications available through Access PEI this fall
Beginning November 1, eligible low-income Islanders can apply for support through the PEI Home Heating Program at any Access PEI location, providing easier access through more locations, online applications, and French-language services.
Currently, the program is delivered by The Salvation Army and funded by the province. The Salvation Army will continue accepting applications until October 31.
On November 1, Access PEI will start to administer the program and process all applications. Program eligibility and benefits remain unchanged, with eligible households able to receive up to $1,200 per calendar year.
The Province of Prince Edward Island thanks the Salvation Army for its contributions to administering the PEI Home Heating Program and for its dedicated service to Islanders.
