Health PEI Launches new Applicant Tracking System
Health PEI has recently launched a new applicant tracking system (ATS), providing a more streamlined and user-friendly experience for individuals interested in health care careers across Prince Edward Island.
The new system makes it easier for candidates to search, filter, and apply for opportunities with Health PEI. The platform features a simplified application process, mobile-friendly design, and bilingual access in both English and French.
Applicants can create and manage a personal profile, apply to multiple job opportunities, track the status of their applications, and sign up for job alerts based on their areas of interest.
"Attracting and recruiting talented health care professionals is essential to strengthening our health system and improving access to care for Islanders. This new applicant tracking system modernizes the recruitment experience, making it easier for people to explore career opportunities, connect with Health PEI, and contribute to the delivery of health care across the province."
- Minister of Health and Wellness, Cory Deagle
In addition to improving the candidate and employee experience, the platform also strengthens workforce planning by capturing key recruitment data, including application volumes, internal workforce trends, candidate qualifications, and time-to-hire metrics.
"The applicant tracking system represents an important step forward in our efforts to attract and hire the health care professionals our province needs," said Pico Sine, Director of Workforce Recruitment with Health PEI. "By providing a simple and more accessible application experience, we’re making it easier for candidates to connect with job opportunities and for employees to grow their careers across our health care system.”
The launch of the new system is part of Health PEI's efforts to modernize recruitment processes and improve access for job seekers interested in building a health care career on Prince Edward Island.
