Road improvements planned for Cannontown Road in Saint-Timothée area
Beginning September 8, road construction on Cannontown Road between Route 124 and Panneau Road will be taking place to improve road conditions and drainage.
Dates:
The project is expected to start on Tuesday, September 8 and construction will take about two weeks.
Traffic:
During this time traffic will not be permitted. Local traffic, such as residents, businesses, deliveries, and visitors with destinations in the area, will be allowed from each end. The area will be closed to all other traffic.
Drivers travelling beyond the closure and between Abrams Village and Saint-Timothée must use an alternate route.
Safety:
- Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
- Reduce speed in the area and be prepared to stop.
- Obey flaggers and signs.
- Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
