Lane closure on Georgetown Road roundabout in Stratford

Motorists are advised of a lane closure on the Georgetown Road roundabout in Stratford while sewer repairs are taking place.

Dates: 

August 26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

Traffic:

The right lane of the roundabout for westbound traffic on Route 1 (Trans-Canada Highway) will be closed while work is underway.

Traffic personnel will be in place to assist drivers.

Safety: 

  • Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
  • Reduce speed in the area. 
  • Obey flaggers and signs.
  • Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
