Asphalt resurfacing taking place in Hunter River
Asphalt resurfacing is taking place on Route 2 in Hunter River.
The work begins at the intersection of Route 2 and 13 and proceeds east (towards Charlottetown) on Route 2 for approximately 200 metres in the eastbound through lane only.
This will improve the quality of the road surface and improve drainage.
Dates:
Monday, June 22 at 7 a.m. and lasts until 12 p.m.
Traffic:
Two-way, stop-and-go traffic will be in effect. Delays can be expected.
Safety:
- Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
- Reduce speed in the area.
- Obey flaggers and signs.
- Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
