Increased activity on Route 2 for World Trails Day clean-up
Motorists are advised of a trail clean-up taking place in the Tory Road area of West Prince as part of World Trails Day, with activities occurring in the Portage–Woodbrook area.
Dates:
June 6 from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m.
Traffic:
Motorists travelling on Route 2 and nearby roads should be aware of intermittent ATV crossings and increased activity in the area as volunteers move between work sites.
Signage and safety cones will be in place.
Drivers are asked to use caution, reduce speed, and watch for event participants and equipment, particularly near crossing points.
Safety:
- Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
- Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
