Traffic control in place during electrical work at Route 2 and Sherwood Road
Traffic lights at the intersection of Route 2 (Malpeque Road) and Sherwood Road in Charlottetown will be temporarily turned off so Maritime Electric can complete work on power poles.
Dates:
Work will take place Sunday, November 16 at 7 a.m. and will be completed by 4 p.m.
Traffic:
Traffic control personnel will be on site to direct motorists through the intersection.
Safety:
- Motorists should reduce speed and be prepared to stop.
- Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
- Reduce speed in the area.
- Obey flaggers and signs.
- Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
