Bridge being replaced in Five Houses

The bridge on Route 327 (Albion Road) in Five Houses is being replaced. 

The 44-year-old structure has reached the end of its service life.  

Dates: 

Starting July 21, with completion expected in October.

Traffic:

Route 327 (Albion Road) will be closed between Route 2 and Route 4. Only local traffic will be permitted until construction is finished. Motorists can follow the posted detour route on Route 2, Route 327 and Route 4.

Safety: 

  • Traffic should reduce speed and be prepared to stop.
  • Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
  • Reduce speed in the area.
  • Obey flaggers and signs.
  • Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
