Ernie Hudson appointed as Minister of Transportation, Infrastructure and Energy

Ernie Hudson has been appointed Minister of Transportation, Infrastructure and Energy, in addition to his role of Minister of Fisheries, Rural Development and Tourism.

Minister Hudson brings experience and a strong understanding of the file to this role and will continue the important work underway to deliver services Islanders rely on every day.

“Ernie is a steady and experienced member of our team who understands the importance of this work to Islanders. I am confident he will continue to move this file forward and deliver results for communities across the province.”

Minister Hudson said he is ready to take on the role and continue serving Islanders.

“I look forward to building on the work already underway and continuing to deliver for Islanders,” said Hudson.

Hudson will assume the responsibilities of the department immediately.
