Coleman Corner Bridge replacement underway

Motorists are advised that the Coleman Corner Bridge, along Route 2 in Coleman Corner (Carleton), is being replaced due to the current structure reaching the end of its service life.

Dates: 

Wednesday, April 29, with construction expected to be completed by December of 2026.

Traffic: 

Vehicles will continue through the site, shifted to one side. Two‑way, two‑lane traffic will be maintained, and traffic control personnel will be present to manage short delays when required. Speed limit will be 30 km/hr and the width restriction is 3.5 m.

Safety: 

  • Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
  • Reduce speed in the area.
  • Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
