Bridge replacement planned for Tory Road in Foxley River

Crews will be replacing a bridge on Route 40548 (Tory Road) in Foxley River because the existing structure has reached the end of its service life.

Dates: 

July 20, with work expected to be completed in October, 2026.

Traffic:

Traffic will be detoured and only local traffic will be permitted until construction is finished. Drivers are asked to slow down, obey signs, and follow the posted detour route on Route 12 and Rafferty Road.

Safety: 

  • Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
  • Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
