Bridge deck cleaning taking place on Hillsborough Bridge

Motorists are advised that bridge deck cleaning will be taking place on the Hillsborough Bridge in Charlottetown.

Dates: Monday, May 4 with work expected to be completed by Thursday, May 7.

Traffic:

Motorists should expect intermittent lane closures during off‑peak hours, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Lane closures will be short in duration as the work will be conducted as a rolling operation.

Drivers are asked to use caution, expect minor delays, and follow all posted signage and instructions from traffic control personnel.

Safety:

  • Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
  • Reduce speed in the area.
  • Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
