Asphalt work underway in Sturgeon
Asphalt widening and resurfacing work is underway on a 1.1-kilometre section of Route 17 in Sturgeon.
Construction will start approximately 500 metres east of the Route 17 and Oldis Road intersection and continue eastward for 1.1 kilometres.
Dates:
October 9, with work expected to be completed by October 12.
Traffic:
During construction hours, two-way, stop-and-go traffic will be in effect.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and use caution when traveling through the work zone.
Safety:
- Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
- Obey flaggers and signs.
- Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
