Asphalt work taking place on Kent Street in Georgetown

Motorists are advised that asphalt milling and resurfacing work will take place on a section of Kent Street in Georgetown.

Work is to commence at the intersection of Kent Street and Wood Lane and proceed north for approximately 1 km. 

 Dates: 

September 23, with work expected to be completed by October 2. 

Traffic:

During construction hours, two-way, stop-and-go traffic will be in effect. 

Motorists are advised to expect delays and use caution when traveling through the work zone.

Safety: 

  • Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
  • Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
