Asphalt resurfacing underway in South Pinette

Asphalt resurfacing is underway on Route 1 in South Pinette. 

Work begins approximately 240 metres west of the Glashvin Road intersection and extends east along Route 1 for about one kilometre.

Dates: 

Work is now underway and is expected to be completed by August 15. 

Traffic:

Two-way, one-lane, stop-and-go traffic will be in effect. Delays can be expected.

Safety: 

  • Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
  • Reduce speed in the area. 
  • Obey flaggers and signs.
  • Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
