Asphalt resurfacing taking place on Route 1 in Stratford

Motorists are advised of asphalt resurfacing taking place on Route 1 in Stratford. 

Work begins at the intersection with Brookside Drive and continues east (toward Hazelbrook) along Route 1 for approximately 300 meters.

Dates: 

August 7, with work expected to be completed by August 21.

Traffic:

Two-way, one-lane, stop-and-go traffic will be in effect. Delays can be expected.

Safety: 

  • Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
  • Reduce speed in the area. 
  • Obey flaggers and signs.
  • Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
