Traffic delays for Freeze Your Gizzard Race in Montague

Motorists are advised that the Freeze Your Gizzard Road Race will take place in Montague this weekend. 

Traffic impacts will occur along the following roads:

• Douse’s Road
• Main Street
• Riverside Drive
• Fraser Street
• Queens Road
• Princess Drive
• John Beer Drive
• Route 320 (Knox’s Dam area)
• Route 326
• Keir Clark Drive 

Dates: 

Saturday, February 21, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Traffic: 

Drivers should expect delays along the race route. At some intersections, traffic may slow down or stop while runners pass. Please follow instructions from police, traffic controllers, and event volunteers.

Safety: 

• When possible, consider using alternate routes to avoid delays.
• Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
• Reduce speed in the area.
• Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
