Roadwork scheduled for Kingsboro

Motorists are advised that roadwork to improve safety has begun at the intersection of Route 16 and Mossey Road in Kingsboro.

The project consists of realigning Mossey Road and installation of a concrete curb and grassed island on Route 16.

Dates: 

Work is now underway and is expected to be completed by the end of October.

Traffic:

Traffic will be maintained through the work zone for the duration of the project. 

Intermittent lane closures may be necessary during construction. 

Traffic control personnel will be on-site to safely direct vehicles through the area.

Safety: 

  • Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
  • Reduce speed in the area. 
  • Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
