Asphalt widening scheduled for Route 6 in Millcove

Motorists are advised that asphalt widening work is taking place on a 2 km section of Route 6 in Millcove.

Work will commence approximately 550 metres north of the intersection of Winter River Road and Route 6 and proceed south for a distance of 2 km. 

Dates: 

September 28, with work expected to be completed by October 2.

Traffic:

During construction hours, two-way, stop-and-go traffic will be in effect. 

Motorists can expect delays and should use caution when travelling through the work zone.

Safety: 

  • Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
  • Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
