Asphalt work taking place on Lower Malpeque Road

Asphalt widening and resurfacing is scheduled for a section of Lower Malpeque Road in Milton Station.

Work will commence approximately 70 metres south of the intersection of Route 2 and Lower Malpeque Road and proceed south for a distance of 1.4 km. 

Dates: 

September 25, with work expected to be completed by October 2. 

Traffic:

During construction hours, two-way, stop-and-go traffic will be in effect. 

Motorists can expect delays and should use caution when travelling through the work zone.

Safety: 

  • Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
  • Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
