Asphalt work scheduled for Colville Road

Work will begin on Colville Road in New Haven and Elmwood to widen approximately 1.4 km of roadway and widen and resurface an additional 1.2 km section.

Work will commence approximately 650 metres south of the intersection of Route 235 and Route 9 and proceed south for a distance of 2.6 km. 

Dates: 

September 23, with work expected to be completed by October 1.

Traffic:

During construction hours, two-way, stop-and-go traffic will be in effect. 

Motorists are advised to expect delays and use caution when traveling through the work zone.

Safety: 

  • Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
  • Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
