Detour in place for Jenkins Avenue in Stratford

A road closure and detour will be in effect on Jenkins Avenue in Stratford while crews install connections to the municipal sewer and water systems.

Dates: 

September 16, with work expected to be completed by 6 p.m.

Traffic:

Motorists should follow the signed detour via Stratford Road, Pinehill Drive, and St. Catherines Avenue to access properties and reconnect with Jenkins Avenue.

Safety: 

  • Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
  • Reduce speed in the area. 
  • Obey flaggers and signs.
  • Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
