Asphalt work scheduled for Union Road
Motorists are advised of asphalt widening and resurfacing work on a section of Route 22 (Union Road).
The work commences at the intersection of Route 3 and Route 22 and proceeds south for a distance of 2 km.
Dates:
Work is now underway and is expected to be completed by September 17.
Traffic:
During construction hours, two-way, stop-and-go traffic will be in effect.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and use caution when traveling through the work zone.
Safety:
- Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
- Obey flaggers and signs.
- Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
