Province reviews business supports

Island businesses are invited to provide their feedback on how to modernize financial assistance programs.

In response to ongoing economic uncertainty and current trade conditions, the province is reviewing its suite of financial assistance programs for business delivered by Innovation PEI. To better understand the pressures businesses are facing, the province is hosting dedicated engagement sessions across the Island and launching another business feedback survey.

Innovation PEI will be hosting businesses in September to hear their feedback.

• September 9 between 12:00-1:30 p.m. at Summerside Shipyard 
• September 14 between 12:00-:30 p.m. at Mill River Resort
• September 23 between 12:00-1:30 p.m. at Innovation PEI in Charlottetown
• September 24 between 12:00-1:30 p.m. at the Rural Action Centre in Montague

Island businesses wishing to participate must register with Kathleen Townshend by email (kvtownshend@gov.pe.ca).

The survey will be open until October 9, 2026. Information from the survey will help inform how Innovation PEI can modernize financial assistance programs to better serve the Island economy.
