Souris Hospital parking lot paving work set to begin next week

Paving work at the Souris Hospital parking lot is set to begin Tuesday, September 8 and is expected to be completed within approximately four weeks, weather permitting.

The south side parking lot will be closed during this time and patients that typically park there are asked to use the main lot. Staff will also be directed to park in an alternative area. The south side parking lot will remain inaccessible until the paving work has been completed.

To ensure the safety of patients, visitors, and staff, signage will be in place throughout the project to help direct vehicles and pedestrians.

Patients and visitors are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra time for parking, and follow all posted signage and directions from traffic control personnel. 

Health PEI appreciates the public's patience and cooperation as this work is completed to improve the hospital parking area.
