Bridge repairs underway in Roxbury

Motorists are advised of a detour in place on Route 137 (Trout River Road) in Roxbury while bridge repairs are underway. 

Dates: 

The detour will be in place until approximately August 20.

Traffic:

Route 137 will be closed between the Route 2 in Coleman and Route 12 in Roxbury. 

Only local traffic will be permitted until construction in completed. 

Drivers are asked to slow down and obey signs.

Safety: 

  • Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
  • Reduce speed in the area. 
  • Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
