Culvert replacement for Fort Augustus

Motorists are advised of a culvert replacement taking place on Route 21 (Fort Augustus Road) in Fort Augustus. 

The current structure has reached the end of its service life.

Dates:

June 22, with work expected to last four weeks.

Traffic: 

Traffic lights will be in place, with traffic reduced to a single lane.

Safety:

  • Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
  • Reduce speed in the area. 
  • Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
