Prince County Hospital declares GI outbreak on medical unit

The inpatient medical unit at Prince County Hospital in Summerside has declared an outbreak of an unidentified gastrointestinal illness.

During this time, patients on the unit are restricted to one visitor at a time. All visitors will be asked to follow the current infection control measures, including wearing a mask at all times.  Visitors are reminded not to visit if they are feeling unwell.
