Motorists advised of increased pedestrian activity during bridge run
Motorists are advised of increased activity along the Hillsborough Bridge active transportation path and Stratford boardwalk during the PEI Roadrunners Bridge Run.
Date:
Saturday, April 18, from 8:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.
Traffic:
The active transportation pathway on the Hillsborough Bridge and sections of the Stratford boardwalk will be in use for a 5-km run.
No full road closures are planned but motorists and cyclists should expect increased pedestrian activity in the area.
Runners will remain on designated pathways and will be supervised by volunteers.
Safety:
Motorists are asked to proceed with caution, reduce speed, and be alert for runners and volunteers.
Cyclists and pedestrians should follow posted signage and instructions from event marshals.
