Outbreak declared over at Western Hospital’s Inpatient Unit

The outbreak of an unknown gastrointestinal illness (GI) at Western Hospital’s inpatient unit has been declared over.  

Health PEI would like to thank staff for their dedication in managing and limiting the outbreak within this unit.

Visitors are reminded to wear a mask and to not visit if they are feeling unwell.
