Paving taking place in North River
Crews will be paving along the Trans-Canada Highway in North River to enhance roadway drainage and contribute to a safer drivng surface.
Dates:
Friday, November 14, with work expected to be completed later that day, weather permitting.
If work is not able to be completed due to rain, it will continue on Saturday, November 15.
Traffic:
One lane will be closed on the Trans-Canada Highway near 57 Capital Drive starting at 8 a.m.
Westbound traffic will be affected first, followed by an eastbound lane closure once that work is finished.
Safety:
- Motorists should reduce speed and be prepared to stop.
- Plan ahead to reach your destination on time.
- Reduce speed in the area.
- Obey flaggers and signs.
- Remember, speeding and using your phone while driving, even when you’re waiting in traffic, are against the law.
