Annual Blueberry Social fundraiser at Historic Yeo House

Islanders and visitors are invited to attend the 44th Annual Blueberry Social at Historic Yeo House featuring treats, entertainment, and fun activities for the whole family.

Take a step back in time at the event on Saturday, August 16 from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Historic Yeo House, 360 Green Park Road, Tyne Valley.  Admission is free, and donations are gratefully accepted, with all proceeds going toward the historic site’s preservation efforts.

The event includes free admission to the Shipbuilding Museum, the Historic Yeo House, and Blacksmith’s Forge. The Gift Shop will feature special one-day discounts on most items. There will be homemade PEI blueberry pies and ADL ice cream for sale, and visitors can enjoy live music, demonstrations, and family-friendly games on the grounds.

The Green Park Shipbuilding Museum and Yeo House tells the story of PEI’s fabled shipbuilding industry since the 1860s and includes exhibitions, a narrative tour of the reportedly haunted Yeo House, and an operational blacksmith shop. It is one of seven museums and heritage sites administered by the PEI Museum and Heritage Foundation.
